Clear rules keep the season fair.
Flip Season is built for producers, listeners, and future partners. These rules protect the music, the community, and the opportunity layer.
The rules protect the music and the record.
This is product guidance for the MVP, not a full legal Terms of Service. The live platform will add fuller support and policy flows later.
Fair weekly loop
A shared sample, clear windows, approved-only feed, and one vote per account keep the Current Week readable.
Producer ownership
Producers keep ownership of submitted beats while granting limited promotional permission for approved submissions.
Opportunity needs agreement
Recognition can create context, but commercial use, partner briefs, and placements require separate written terms.

Common rules questions
Can I use other samples?
You can add your own sounds only if you own or cleared them. The weekly challenge must use the Official Sample, and challenge samples are use-limited unless a specific license says otherwise.
Can I submit more than once?
No. The MVP rule is one submission per producer per week so the weekly board stays fair and readable.
Can I vote for myself?
No. Self-voting is blocked once live voting is connected.
Can I release my flip elsewhere?
It depends on the sample license for that week. Treat Flip Season samples as challenge-use only unless the Current Week rules explicitly allow wider release.
What happens if my beat gets selected for an opportunity?
Any commercial opportunity, Artist Brief, Sync Brief, Sponsored Drop, or partner use requires separate written agreement before anything moves forward.
What happens if I break the rules?
A submission can be rejected, removed, flagged, or excluded from results. Repeat or serious issues can affect producer access.
Ready for this week's drop?
